1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not keep official criminal records, submit filings, retrieve records, or conduct official background checks.

Its content identifies the Nicholas County sheriff, Kentucky courts, the Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry as separate official sources. Public access to existing Kentucky agency records is governed by the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884. The site may also connect visitors to independent research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you must not:

• Use the site in violation of federal, Kentucky, or local law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information found here

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, consumer report, or background check. Our services and those of advertising partners are not designed to assess job applicants, rental applicants, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. You agree not to use site or linked-tool data to:

• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness

A lawful screening need requires an authorized Kentucky State Police check when that product fits the purpose, or an FCRA-compliant screening provider. This site cannot supply such a report.
